Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.Starlium 10mg Injection should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Starlium 10mg Injection can make you sleepy, forgetful, and have poor co-ordination. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Starlium 10mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Starlium 10mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Dose adjustment may be required if it is to be given for a long period

Liver

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

How Starlium Injection works
Starlium 10mg Injection is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Side Effects:

Common Sleepiness, Memory impairment, Uncoordinated body movements, Dizziness, Headache, Dryness in mouth, Fatigue, Depression, Irritability, Slurred speech, Constipation.

Expert advice for Starlium Injection
If you are taking Starlium for the treatment of insomnia and anxiety, it should not be used more than 4 weeks. It may become less effective over the time. It causes sleepiness or drowsiness. If this happens to you, do not drive or use machinery. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Starlium, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
